Why choose Aspects Mediation?
Experienced mediators. Faster and more cost effective than going to court. Online meetings.
What other services do you offer?
We offer conflict support coaching.
What if the other side won’t agree to meditate?
Mediation is voluntary, so they can’t be forced to enter into or continue the mediation if there is a change of heart.
What is included in the cost?
Our costs include the Initial Meeting Assessment, Preparation Meeting planning, Joint Meeting, any written agreements and follow up calls. Note: Case duration, urgency and location will affect costs.
How long will the process take?
The UK court back log means more people are turning to mediation as a fast alternative to resolve conflicts. It’s a swift process once all parties are on-board and payment has been taken. The mediation process will begin on a date to suit you starting with the Initial Meeting.
How long are the sessions?
Allow at least 90 minutes - Initial Meeting
Allow 40 minutes - Joint Meeting preparation Meeting
Allow at least 120 minutes - Final all-party Joint Meeting
Note - Above timings do not apply to intergenerational mediation sessions
Do you give any guarantees?
Yes. We guarantee your sessions will be mediated impartially and confidentially.
Do I have to be in the same room as the other person?
No, we work online so you benefit from reduced costs. No need to arrange travel or pay for room hire. You don’t have to sit in the same room as the person(s) you’re in conflict with and your time is used more efficiently. We find people are often more willing to mediate in this way .
Meetings are 'without prejudice'
All sessions are held privately and anything discussed remains confidential so you can speak freely. All details of the mediation remain confidential unless agreed by those involved that there is benefit to sharing outside of the meeting.
Your right to withdraw
Mediation is voluntary, this means that at any stage if you decide you no longer want to be involved you can withdraw from the process.
